MUSEUM OF OLYMPIA

The museum is devoted to the football club, players and trainers who started the career with the simplest competitions and as a result came to the world level.

There are awards of the team which presented to Russia many successful famous players who now protect honor of various football clubs all over the country.

Here we can learn the history of the person who devoted the life to soccer, the professional, whose name now we hear every day, the trainer, whose mission is to aim the experience at the development and unity of the best football players of the country – Russian national team!

LEONID SLUTSKY

His way began here. He brought up a lot of generations of football players. He took part in development of the teams of "OLYMPIA", which won regional, Russian and international awards. By his techniques and recommendations hundreds of young athletes are trained now.

Leonid Viktorovich Slutsky — a Soviet and Russian football player, goalkeeper and football coach.

Honored trainer of the Russian Federation (2013).

The team under his management became champion of Russia twice (2013, 2014), the owner of the Russian Cup (2011, 2013) and the Supercup of Russia (2013, 2014).

Career of the trainer "Olympia" (Volgograd):

Having graduated from the Volgograd state institute of physical culture with the diploma with honors, Slutsky came to postgraduate study. Along with it, in 1993, at the age of 22, he began the career of a coach, training the group of 12-year-old football players at the Volgograd "Olympia". In this team he grew up such famous football players as Roman Adamov, Denis Kolodin, Vitaly Kazantsev, Andrey Bochkov and Maxim Burchenko. In 1999 the club won the first place in the zone "South" of KFK and won the Russian Cup among KFK. The team acted in many international competitions.
